Location
You search for a town or postcode (or use current location) so we can fetch a forecast. Coordinates are sent to our weather provider when you search. We do not store a search history on our servers.
Saved home
If you tap Save this place, your browser stores that place under plants:home-place so the site can reopen your forecast on return visits. That stays on your device.
Plant preferences
Your plant type, planting spot, shade, soil, and last watering choices are stored locally under plants:preferences-v1 so the score stays personal between visits.
Analytics
If you choose Accept analytics in the cookie banner, we load Google Analytics (GA4) (G-2FKTP9S2JE) to understand traffic and basic interactions. If you choose Reject analytics, we do not load those scripts.
